1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Z ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Z is an AI-powered relationship guide that provides conversational support, conflict mediation, and emotional guidance. The App uses third-party AI language models (such as Google Gemini) to process your messages and generate responses.

Important: Z is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Z.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. AI Data Processing Consent

By using Z, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your chat messages are sent to secure third-party AI providers for processing.
  • You have explicitly consented to this data sharing during onboarding.
  • You may revoke this consent at any time via the App's Settings, which will disable chat functionality.
  • AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

5. Acceptable Use & Content Policy

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Z. You agree not to:

  • Use the App to harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate any person.
  • Post or share content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or illegal.
  • Attempt to manipulate the AI to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Exploit the shared session feature to send unsolicited or abusive messages to others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

6. User-Generated Content & Shared Sessions

When you use shared sessions (inviting a partner to a conversation), content exchanged between participants is considered user-generated content. You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you share in sessions.
  • You will use the in-app reporting feature to flag any offensive or abusive content.
  • We may review reported content and take action, including removing content and suspending users.
  • We are not responsible for content shared by other participants in shared sessions.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Z+ Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription.
  • Subscription plans: Monthly ($4.99/month) and Yearly ($29.99/year).
  • A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
  • Payment is charged through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Z and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

  • Z is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated responses.
  • Z is not a medical, legal, or therapeutic service.
  • We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Z and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, relationship outcomes, or data loss.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
